Senior Gaming Producer

Job Description

The Role:

As a newly formed department within Moonbug, we are looking for an experienced Senior Gaming Producer to join our Gaming department, and lead the Gaming Production team. This role will focus on producing top-quality games for kids on mobile and Roblox platforms. The successful candidate will guide our projects from conception to large-scale delivery, on time and on budget, ensuring they captivate our young audience and stand out in the competitive gaming market.

Responsibilities
• Lead the full production lifecycle of gaming projects on Roblox and mobile platforms, ensuring they align with Moonbug's vision and exceed industry standards.
• Mentor and manage a team of producers and other team members, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
• Collaborate with various cross-functional teams and external studios to develop innovative and appealing gaming experiences
• Strategically manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure the successful and efficient delivery of large-scale gaming projects.
• Uphold high-quality standards for all games, focusing on creating engaging, child-friendly experiences.
• Keep up-to-date with children's gaming trends and advancements to drive innovation in our gaming portfolio.
• Work closely with the VP Gaming & Interactive to ensure we deliver products and experiences at a high level, managing timing, budgets and external teams.

Requirements:
• Extensive experience in successfully delivering large-scale games and apps, particularly on iOS, Android, and Roblox platforms.
• Proven leadership and project management skills, with a track record of mentoring teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for leading diverse teams and aligning with stakeholder objectives.
• A strong passion for developing captivating and safe gaming experiences for children.
• Deep understanding of game design principles and a player-centric approach to development.
• Developing processes and procedures for gaming production
• Experience of delivering within defined resources, such as budgets and headcount
• Great problem solving skills and being able to seek and present solutions
• Proven experience of working in a fast paced environment and changing priorities
• Experience of working within ambiguous and unstructured environment, whilst embedding new processes and procedures for gaming production
• Experience of working in a fast paced and commercially focussed environment
