Ticket Sales Coordinator

Position Summary:
As the Ticket Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the full-time sales staff with performing support duties that will contribute to the overall sales operations. You will also provide exceptional customer service to all current and new customers via phone, online chat, text or in person. You will work closely with the entire Ticket Sales department by maintaining a strong line of communication to accomplish goals and objectives. You will also be expected to coordinate and execute specific tasks within the department in a timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform sales support duties, which include but are not limited to order processing, invoicing, ticket distribution, sales collateral distribution, customer recovery assistance, database entry (ticket system and CRM), distribution of customer benefits, and monitoring and answering phone queues.
• Support department's retention efforts by performing customer facing and/or non-customer facing duties as assigned.
• Assist with the onboarding process for new season ticket holders to ensure a seamless transition from sales rep to service rep for new Twins customers.
• Provide overflow phone coverage assistance to organization's call center during high-volume-on-sales and other team initiatives.
• Support department's acquisition efforts by performing lead generation and sales qualification duties with the intent of providing these qualified leads to full-time sales and service representatives for closing.
• Adhere to the established policies and procedures in utilizing CRM solution and other technology-based tools.
• Participate in various sales promotions, events, and existing/potential client entertainment activities as required.
• Work in conjunction with the entire Ticket Sales & Service team to uphold the mandates of the department regarding goals and objectives.
• Maintain strong, cooperative inter/intra-departmental relationships.
• Assist with game day operations as required.
• Other related duties as required.
Required Experience and Education:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year of related sales or service experience, preferably in the sports industry.
Preferred Experience and Education:
• Bachelor's degree.
• Prior sales and/or customer service experience.
• Prior account management experience.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Excellent relationship building and people skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients at all levels within the organization.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Committed to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi-task and meet required deadlines.
• Assertive, confident, persistent, and results oriented.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• While looking to succeed personally, you must be able and interested in supporting a team environment and adhering to the Ticket Sales & Service department's objectives, goals, and mandates.
• Familiarity with event ticket systems and CRM systems.
• Available to work flexible hours including holidays, evenings, and weekends.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workday.
• Must be able to be productive utilizing a computer, keyboard and telephone.
• Must be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at times.
This is a part-time position that will work an average of 32 hours per week.
