THE ROLE

Vibee is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Temp Finance Associate to support the finance team during the busy year-end season. This short-term role will focus on reviewing and reconciling financial data, assisting with event settlements, and ensuring financial records are accurate and complete. Strong Excel skills are essential, and experience in the music or entertainment industry would be an asset. This is a remote part-time temporary positions for 3 months. This position is remote and be based throughout the US

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist in performing variance analysis to identify discrepancies between forecasts and actual results
• Support preliminary event settlement processes, ensuring all financial data aligns with production records
• Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to gather missing documentation and resolve discrepancies
• Provide support with accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring smooth processing during year-end close
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for leadership review
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, supporting audit readiness

QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems and tools is an asset.
• Experience in production accounting or the music industry is helpful but not required.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with vendors and internal staff.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments on site at our events
• May sit for extended periods of time and work in drastic temperature climates onsite at our events
• Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
• Must be willing to travel as required both domestically and abroad, if required
• Must have a current passport and be able to travel worldwide without restriction
