THE JOB
Cascades Amphitheater is looking for an organized, positive and motivational leader. The Operations Supervisor should have good time management, acute attention to detail, ability to multi-task, take initiative, ask questions and follow through to completion.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Works directly with the General Manager/Operations Manager to perform daily duties regarding general venue set up and maintenance; will also work directly with various other department heads on day of show duties (i.e. Security Manager, Production Manager, Legends GM, etc.)
• Follow up with Security and Guest Services teams to ensure that service standards are met
• Perform opening/running/closing duties according to Live Nation policy
• Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area and reporting any issues encountered
• Keep current on all Standard Operating Procedures and be able to effectively communicate them to team members; curate SOPs that do not exist
• Create pre-shift sheet and relay information from management directly to crew members
• Turn in all lost and found articles to Reception
• Ensure proper line of sight maintenance by all staff at all points of guest contact as well as maintaining the security of Back of House areas
• Leads all pre-shift meetings prior to start of shift including safety tips and standards
• Required to work Special Events that are scheduled throughout the venue
• Schedule all operations crew members and ensure all tasks are complete by end of each shift and venue is show ready prior to doors on each event day
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
• Skills in guest relations/staff relations- Assessing and anticipating special needs of guests
• Prioritization of duties and effective communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks/issues at one time effectively, with an upbeat attitude
• Anticipate venue needs and take initiative to suggest improvements to GM/AGM
• Communicate well with team members and managers and foster an atmosphere of unity and camaraderie
• High School Diploma required
Preferred:
• Experience in a live music environment
• College diploma in related field or equivalent work experience
• Fork Lift certified
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
• Working environment is fast-paced, often loud and stressful
• Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
• Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs using proper lifting techniques

The expected compensation for this position is:
$22.40 USD - $28.00 USD Hourly
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
