THE JOB

USANA Amphitheatre is seeking supervisors for the 2024 concert season! These supervisors are responsible for supervising and coordinating activities for ushers/ticket takers/ security within the venue to ensure guest needs are met before, during, and after shows.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Direct and supervise other employees performing services as directed.
• Provide customer services by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
• On an ongoing basis lead and train staff to ensure that all staff members are well-informed on event specific details.
• Coordinate team rest periods in accordance with state and local law and help to find coverage.
• Assist management to ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures to include all safety regulations.
• Show CARE by participating in venue sustainability efforts such as sorting waste into correct bins, educating our fans about our efforts
or collecting recyclables from the lawn before and after the show.
• Partner with fellow band members at the end of show to close the venue- this may include collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and properly storing event equipment such as lawn chairs, barricade, Etc.
• Write reports at the end of events highlighting any incidents, or key details regarding guest complaints.
• Assign team members to specific duties.
• Enforce safety, health, and security duties for both crew members and patrons.
• Other tasks as assigned by the GM, Operations manager, or Security Manager.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of guest service
or hospitality experience
• Minimum of 1 year in security
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs.
• Working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures.
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs.+ and occasional sitting.
