Reports to: Head of Operations
Working Hours: Full time with additional event working as appropriate (evenings and weekends)
Contract Type: Fixed Term (May 2025 – Jan 2026)
The Role
This role will support the planning, organisation and execution of Warehouse Project events. You'll be integral to the preparation for these events as well as working onsite as part of the operations team so prior experience in an event operations role is essential.
Key Dates
This role requires onsite working across a number of our high-profile shows and festivals and so it's important that you're available to work across these key dates:
Parklife 9th - 16th June
Oasis 11th, 12th, 16th, 19th, 20th July
Wythenshawe Park 11th - 18th August

Our operations team work on Manchester based events including Parklife Festival, The Warehouse Project and Live From Wythenshawe Park.

• Proven experience in event operations
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident user of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
• Detailed project coordination
• Ability to disseminate the correct information to all parties involved in the project.
Desirable
• Having prior experience working onsite at a festival or large scale events
• Planning and adhering to a budget
• Negotiation and liaison with contractors and partners

What the role includes
• Support planning, coordination and execution of festivals and events
• Implement operational plans for festivals and events
• Coordinate food, beverage and merch operations
• Work with staffing agencies to staff all events
• Manage onsite facilities, including setup, maintenance, and customer service
• Manage lost property operations, including collection, storage, and return of lost items
• Manage POS devices - programming, charging and maintenance
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth event operations
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Identify opportunities and implement processes for operational improvement
• Achieving tasks, targets outlined in the timeline and checklist
• Working within the operations team onsite at events and festivals
• Working with various contractors across all operations
• Keeping logs up to date throughout the planning process
• Carry out any research and prepare findings in a comprehensive and concise format
• Attend regular department meetings and provide clear, concise updates to key personnel
• Organise and attend meetings, providing minutes where necessary
• Perform general office duties and running the onsite office
