Jr. Accountant - Part Time Live Nation Boston

THE JOB

This role is responsible for assisting the accounting team with several tasks associated with all the Crossroads venues.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Prepare and upload miscellaneous journals such as but not limited to, check accruals, Brinks cash orders and deposits, bank deposit journal entries.
• Process new artist vendor setup requests in Oracle as needed including obtaining all required documents (W-9 form and initial vendor invoice).
• Enter manual checks, wires and taxes in Accounting system.
• May need to help pay, scan and log taxes.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by Finance Manager and Director of Accounting

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to 15 hours per week, Monday – Friday during normal business hours. Normal business hours in this case are 10am – 6pm. You may be required to work late, or on a weekend and/or holiday during month end close. Month end close consists of the last day of the month through the first week of the month. Must be able to multi-task, follow up, communicate with staff/management in a positive manner, be organized and meet strict deadlines.
