Job Description
THE ROLE
Reporting to the VP, Venues and Operations in Canada, this person will be part of the planning and execution team for Toronto's newest 50,000 capacity Stadium, as well as an integral member of the greater production team assisting in large event productions in Toronto. At Rogers Stadium they will work alongside the Director of Operations and Events, Production Manager, Technical Director, Security, Venue Conversions and other key stakeholders to develop systems, production advance documents, event details, site plans and BOH design. The Event Manager will represent both the venue and production teams by advancing with both front of house and back of house requirements. This role has unconventional hours and requires a lot of time on your feet!
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Lead event coordination for each event at Rogers Stadium
• Advance all show details with tours, including both front of house and back of house requirements
• Advance and manage house costs and staffing requirements based on tour needs
• Work with Finance and Operations to manage and maintain event staffing budget estimates
• Liaise with Ticketing, VIP Events, Hospitality, Artist and Sponsorship activation needs
• Work with Rogers Stadium Production Manager on all tour staffing needs such as Runners, Production Assistants, and Local Catering
• Be onsite for load in and load out as well as show execution, within reason
• Assist in other Live Nation venue operations as required including but not limited to supporting other large-scale productions at Stadium and Arena shows in Toronto where planning and execution with the tour is needed
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelor's degree in Event Management or relevant educational background
• At least 5 years relevant experience working either in live events or venue operations
• Demonstrated experience working with large scale events
• Exhibit strong problem-solving skills in long-term and immediate situations
• Ability to travel to other venues across Ontario
• Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy working environments
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work during nights, weekends and Holidays
• Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills and leadership skills
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and Word applications

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Walk around frequently throughout the venue during the workday; while occasionally sitting for short periods of time at a computer station/work desk. Lifts up to 25 lbs regularly; exposed to typical outdoor environment conditions and noise levels
