THE ROLE
Merch Traffic is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our D2C e-commerce operations, while driving growth and fan engagement in the entertainment industry. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on management to deliver a seamless, fan-friendly online shopping experience.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Execute end-to-end e-commerce projects, planning, timelines, resource allocation, and implementation of new internal processes to drive operational improvements and revenue growth. Oversee sales reporting to executives.
• Oversee operational set up of product listings, pricing, promotions, and checkout processes on our Shopify platform. Collaborate with partners and internal store managers to launch new features, enhance site performance, and ensure an intuitive UX/UI design aligned with SEO goals and best practices.
• Manage inventory level accuracy and reporting, coordinate with fulfillment partners as needed, and ensure accurate notifications for out-of-stock items and shipping automation updates to optimize the customer experience.
• Partner with the marketing team to develop operational processes for SEO, PPC, social commerce, and Google Merchant Center merchandising. Support strategic app integrations and social commerce initiatives.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize product offerings, and measure marketing effectiveness. Develop automated reporting and insights to inform merchandise strategies. Proactively audit and verify media D2C sales reporting for US and Canada chart-reporting companies.
• Track and maintain e-commerce compliance with GDPR, Cookie Policies, ADA, and business regulations, under guidance and direction from corporate compliance teams.
• Leverage knowledge of entertainment e-commerce, including merchandise sales, digital goods, fan engagement strategies, and industry-specific chart reporting requirements.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 5+ years of e-commerce operations or ecommerce project management experience, including experience working with Shopify storefront and merchandising tools.
• Bringing new recommendations and processes to the table and monitoring existing processes for optimization opportunities.
• Hands-on experience in web development languages including Liquid, CSS and HTML and Database and Query language SQL, and customization of Shopify themes.
• Knowledge of user experience design principles to create inclusive, intuitive and search engine optimized online stores.
• Experience working with and/or managing development and delivery teams, with a focus on translation of business requirements to technical roadmap and tasks
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to resolve challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with entertainment merchandise, digital sales, and fan engagement strategies.

The expected compensation for this position is:
$76,000.00 USD - $95,000.00 USD
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
