Role Description
Live Nation UK's Research and Insights Team is seeking a resourceful and driven team player to join as a Director of Research and Insights.
This role combines a passion for live music with expertise in research methodologies, data analysis and data synthesis. The R&I team is dedicated to empowering the business with a deep understanding of our live music fans. As a Director of R&I, you will collaborate across departments to enhance the event experience and provide actionable insights that help us better connect and engage our audience.
The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter, skilled in connecting and synthesising multiple data sets and sources to uncover key insights. You will report into the Head of Research and Insights to lead on R&I initiatives across the UK business, translating data into impactful strategies with a clear commercial focus. Your ability to integrate diverse data streams will enable the business to make informed, strategic decisions that drive growth.

Live Nation UK Marketing Partnerships architects, sells and manages the company's national corporate sponsorship programmes with the world's most recognisable brands. Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Proven experience in market research and/or consumer insights from either client/agency side
• Expertise in advanced quantitative methodologies (ie. MaxDiff, Conjoint, Segmentation), analysis and translating research into actionable insights
• Strong knowledge of qualitative methodologies, including drafting discussion guides and moderation of focus groups
• Proficiency in synthesising data from various sources, including social media listening tools, and integrating data into cohesive reports.
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau) and dashboard creation for decision-making
• Hands-on experience with data using Excel, SPSS, SQL, Python
• Proficiency in social media listening tools (e.g. Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Talkwalker)
• Strong communciation skills with experience crafting and presenting research findings clearly and persuasively to diverse and often senior C-suite level audiences.
• Experience managing data analysts

What the role includes
• Support the Head of R+I with the democratision of insights across the business, empowering teams to use data to meet objectives
• Lead the strategic direction of custom quant and qual first-party data analysis and research projects, helping to uncover insights that drive business objectives
• Distil complex data into clear, actionable insights that have a measurable impact on the organisation
• Oversee the full lifecycle of market research projects; including methodology recommendations, survey designs with a commercial focus, identifying key audiences, generating cross tabs and impactful insights.
• Present clear and concise research findings to key stakeholders, including C-suite and cross-fuctional teams.
• Consoldiate and integrate multiple data sets, including social media insights, into unified dashboards for strategic decision making
• Manage and lead social media listening strategies, ensuring key brand sentiment, trends and consumer feedback are captured to inform business decisions.
