THE JOB
Our backstage teams have a leading role in the experience the artists and touring personnel have at our venues. The extent to which we recognize our crew members for service well done is the extent to which they will care not only for our Artists and touring personnel, but for each other.
Live Nation is seeking a Backstage Facility and Hospitality Manager for the Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre. The position will directly report to the venue General Manager and coordinate with the National Director of Backstage Facilities & Hospitality. The Backstage Hospitality Manager serves as a liaison between the venue, artists, and touring personnel, ensuring the seamless execution of backstage hospitality operations. This role collaborates closely with the Production Manager to uphold the highest standards of service, facilities management, and guest experiences in alignment with Venue Nation's backstage hospitality playbook.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• The Backstage Facility and Hospitality Manager will oversee Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre backstage hospitality program & execute Venue Nation's division-wide goals and objectives.
• Implement Venue Nation's backstage hospitality playbook, adhering to standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with Production Manager to anticipate and fulfill artist and touring personnel needs.
• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of backstage hospitality, including catering, accommodations, transportation and amenities.
• Conduct regular inspections of backstage areas, dressing rooms, and hospitality spaces to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Coordinate with facility maintenance staff to address any repairs, maintenance issues, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Maintain a high level of communication and responsiveness to artist and touring personnel requests and preferences.
• Ensure the cleanliness, functionality, and ambiance of backstage areas, dressing rooms and hospitality spaces.
• Identify opportunities to enhance backstage hospitality offerings and provide unique experiences for artists and guests.
• Monitor and assist in managing hospitality expenses, and vendor contracts.
• Train and supervise hospitality staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold Venue Nation's brand standards.
• Partner with local backstage caterer to ensure the Artists rider requirements are met and the culinary experience exceeds the artist's and touring personnel's expectations.
• Manage dining spaces for cleanliness, efficiency and quality.
• Participate in the venue's sustainability program which could include implementing programs that conserve resources/prevent waste such as sorting waste and collecting recycling and educating the bands about our efforts.
• Create memorable, hospitality-minded moments at every show by maintaining a high-quality backstage atmosphere that is warm and welcoming.
• Coordinate with the Artist Services team to facilitate nationally planned experiences.

• Position requires constant physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying equipment. Must be able to lift 30lbs using proper lifting techniques.
• Proficient computer skills required including the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Canva, Adobe
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, or something comparable preferred.
• 1 year + of backstage/production/hospitality experience
• 2-3 years + of work experience in a comparable hospitality role
• 1-2 years + of leadership and management experience
