Atlanta Market Manager – Wine and Spirits Industry

Location: Atlanta, GA

Reports to: Southeast Regional Director

Must live in Atlanta and must have a prior experience selling wine and/or champagne.

Armand de Brignac Champagne is seeking an experienced, results-driven Atlanta Market Manager to execute our commercial strategies in the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a focus on developing and executing commercial campaigns that drive brand growth, consumer engagement, and revenue with a specific focus on premium champagne.
OBJECTIVE:
• Provides the Maison with support to professionalize the brand presence in Atlanta region for Trade and Private Clients
• Works with the Regional Sales Director to sustain growth in key channels: High Energy, Fine Dining, Hotels and Lodging and Retail
• Supports the brand in creating programs to establish local desirability by expanding distribution and increasing the number of SKUs supplied in the market beyond the flagship brands

TASKS:

Create a Target Account List by channel mapping our brand presence in Key Accounts Build commercial momentum through a distribution drive within the Target Account universe Drive Volume programs in on and off premise accounts Develop Trade up Programs (By the Glass, Large Format listings, Rarities) Build a solid network of influencers through organic endorsement in the region Support the brand in creating an internal community within a distributor network Conduct all Brand Education, trainings and support the Regional Sales Director in hosting Ace events for Trade and Private Client

Commercial KPI's:

TARGET ACCOUNTS
• Achieve sales plans by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key buyers
• Identify and create Ace target accounts to drive Ace distribution.
• Determine a full list of High Energy, Restaurants (Trendy Vibe Dining and Fine Dining) High End Department Stores, Hotels, Resorts, etc and rate them into Tiers to indicate the priority and High Image status

FLAGSHIP ACCOUNTS - Within the Target Account universe, develop Flagship accounts that will -
• List brand By the Glass
• Target Full portfolio listing
• Provide special and access to Limited Editions and Rarities
• Create a tracker to measure achievement for all of the above
• Provide a monthly report to show progress of number of listings and volume generated
• Work with the Regional Director and local market to determine the commensurate level of POSM, market FTT/A&P to support these Flagship Accounts

ALLOCATIONS
• Work with the Regional Director to manage allocations of special SKUs
• Recommend inventory levels of 750ml and large formats for the market
• Recommend large formats target Account list in the region in order to allocate the right number

T&E MANAGEMENT
• Track monthly T&E according to Budget
• Track Account support against distribution and volume KPI's
• Work with the Regional Director and the Maison to determine an annual calendar for market visits and blitzes

Qualitative KPI's:

FLAGSHIP ACCOUNTS
• Create an event program to support Flagship Accounts
• Leverage the listing of Limited Editions and Rarities to drive brand visibility and awareness

EDUCATION & TRAINING
• Educate the Sales Teams, Sales Ambassadors and Accounts on Brand Positioning, Brand History and Craftsmanship
• Target number of trainings to be conducted monthly
• Manage and share a monthly training tracker with the Regional Director

EVENTS
• Support markets in hosting external Luxury events and Partnerships
• Representative to host internal events to promote Brand advocacy

TRAVEL EXPECTATIONS:

90% home market

10% headquarters visits, trainings, team meetings and hosting of accounts outside of the home market

PROFILE:
• Has a minimum of 6 years' experience as a Market/Account Manager or Brand Ambassador
• Has a minimum of 6 years' experience working with wine and spirits brands through multi-tiered distribution channels
• Has sufficient wine knowledge and certifications
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office
• Based in Atlanta and familiar with on and off premise accounts and is able to bring his/her relationships to the brand
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Outstanding time management skills and high level of integrity
• Able to lift up 35 pounds
