THE JOB:
The Analyst of the Strategy & Analytics team will sit at the intersection of data and disruption. This role builds reports and analyses that make an impact in supporting US Concerts leadership. Critical financial models are maintained weekly that track the touring pipeline and enable our team to make strategic decisions that impact the business. It is common to work on projects both individually and collaboratively within a team. This role is fluent in reporting with a proven ability to leverage data to solve problems.
Large spreadsheets and warehouses of data are more than just numbers on a screen to the Analyst of the Strategy & Analytics team. Each data point has a unique story and a single number represents an artist, a show, a venue, or an individual's concert experience. The ideal candidate possesses an insatiable curiosity to learn about each data point, speak to its unique story, and transform it into meaningful insights.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:
• Support US Concerts team with high-impact projects, models, and analyses.
• Maintain critical financial models to support business leaders in decision-making.
• Oversee quality control of event data and touring data in Salesforce.
• Create actionable ad hoc reporting and analyses.
• Analyze and explain concerts and tours that are overperforming and underperforming
• Collaborate with touring and talent teams on cross-functional projects and initiatives that align with business needs
• Support ad-hoc analyses to answer critical and time-sensitive business questions, identifying areas of strategic opportunity for the business.
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING:
• 1-3 years of experience preferred. Relevant analytical experience such as corporate business analysis is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree with a focus in accounting, finance, business, economics, statistics, or related field.
• Loves to solve puzzles and has the desire to understand every aspect of the business.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint (e.g. comfortable with Pivot Tables, advanced lookup formulas, keyboard shortcuts, etc.).
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical abilities, with a continuous drive to improve.
• Experience with executive-level trackers and reports preferred.
• Experience with BI reporting or willingness to learn (SAP Business Objects, Tableau, SQL, Databricks or other similar programs and platforms).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills – ability to distill complex data into actionable insights for leadership stakeholders.
• Ability to participate in a collaborative team environment and willing to work when necessary to help get overall team goals accomplished.
• Ability to handle extensive datasets with keen attention to detail.
• Adapts well to tasks that involve a blend of routine elements and managing dynamic, constantly shifting data.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and effectively meet critical deadlines.
• Ability to work flexible hours in support of the business.
• Entertainment industry experience is a plus.
The expected compensation for this position is:
$72,000.00 USD - $90,000.00 USD
** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
