Summary of Position
Lionsgate is seeking a Director to be a key addition to the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team. Partnering closely with the Sales Planning team, this person will work to ensure compliance with the Company's reporting obligations to its financing partners.
Responsibilities
• Act as the main liaison with Sales Planning to ensure synchronization of sales deal flow, avails, and data accuracy.
• Partner with Rights Management to manage and investigate IP metadata for accuracy and consistency across data sources.
• Serve as the point person for covenant reporting to banks, including the valuation of unsold rights (URV), fixed charge ratios, monthly borrowing base components, LTV true-up analysis, and compliance certificates; Collaborate with the accounting group on all these matters as needed.
• Maintain precision in managing Excel valuation models, ensuring accurate tracking and version control.
• Develop and maintain Participations & Residuals assumptions by title for URVs, leveraging BPC and other systems for valuation models.
• Monitor performance of URV subsets, oversee title population changes (additions, removals, substitutions), and audit distribution rights and avails.
• Facilitate effective communication between Corporate FP&A, Sales Planning, Accounting, Tax, and external stakeholders.
• Draft cover memos to banks and administrative agents explaining compliance reports, as needed.
• Evaluate and strategically propose optional tile transfers and use of borrowing facility baskets to maximize liquidity and bank capacity.
Qualifications and Skills
• 8+ years of experience highly relevant to the role.
• Expertise in advanced Excel with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proven ability to design and present complex financial models.
• Strong process orientation, with a focus on improving efficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems (BPC, Hyperion or similar).
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to facilitate stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience in interpreting contracts and agreements.
• Understanding of library management, residuals and participation waterfalls is a strong plus.
Nice to Haves
• Relevant entertainment industry experience strongly preferred.
Compensation
$140,000 - $170,000
