Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking to hire a talented individual for a newly created Director, TV Production Budgeting & Estimating skilled in creating and vetting budgets.

Responsibilities
• Partner with TV Production to refine existing and establish new accounting practices to be leveraged and upheld in the field

• Collaborate with field Production Accountants to ensure Lionsgate accounting practices are clearly communicated and accurately practiced

• Serve as a point of contact for all field Production Accountants as it pertains to all Lionsgate's accounting practices, Budgeting & Cost Reporting, providing expertise

• In partnership with the VP, Controller, ensure field Production Accountants adhere to Lionsgate budgeting and estimating practices, ensuring that budgets & Cost Reports are forecasted accurately

• Support Production compliance audits requests as needed

Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred

• Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in Television production accounting for 1 hour and 1/2 hour shows shot across the US especially in Tax incentive locations (good to have international experience)

• In depth understanding of film and television industry Budgeting & accounting and finance practices

• Knowledge and experience with union/guild agreements

• Knowledge of state and international tax incentive laws and credits

• Extensive knowledge of budgeting series/pilots
