KXAN (Austin, TX) is looking for Videographer/Editor to join our top-rated, highly collaborative newsroom, in one of the fastest-growing and most desired cities. This role is for a content creator and show editor, who contributes ideas and provides coverage on all platforms. This position is a hybrid model that includes videography and newscast editing duties.

EXPERIENCE – Candidates should:
• Have a minimum of one year working in a newsroom as a photojournalist/videographer/editor.
• Ability to edit to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, balance multiple projects and stay organized.
• Exemplify the core values and quality standards set forth by KXAN News.

REQUIREMENTS – Candidates must:
• Include resume and online link showing previous work that demonstrates their videography and editing skills
• Provide 3 work references. At least one should be a supervisor.
• Have familiarity with or willingness to quickly learn - Adobe Premiere.
• Be flexible to work a variety of shifts, as needed. This includes stepping in to help show editors when needed.
• Be prepared for all types of working conditions and the physicality of carrying equipment.
• Have a valid drivers license with a clean record
