Sports Multimedia Journalist

Job Description

KVAL is looking for a Multimedia Journalist to cover Sports. Your responsibilities as a Sports MMJ include reporting, shooting and editing sports stories, along with some sports anchoring duties. You will be expected to produce daily sports coverage on a variety of platforms including the internet, social networking sites and mobile phones, in addition to television.

Skills and Experience
• Ability to shoot and edit, do live shots and meet deadlines
• The ability to work well independently
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record

Requirements and Qualifications:
• A minimum of 1 year of sports reporting and anchoring experience is preferred
• Experience with live shots is required
• Experience with Live-U is a plus
