Job Description

KVAL is looking for a Sports Anchor/Reporter.
Oregon is a great place to cover sports. Eugene is home to the top college football team in the Big Ten. Besides University of Oregon, Oregon State is right up the highway. College football and basketball are big here. So are high school sports. This is also Tracktown USA where Hayward Field hosts the Prefontaine Classic and the Olympic Trials. Western Oregon is also a great place to live with bike paths, hiking trails, camping and fishing.

Skills and Experience:
• Sharp news judgment
• The ability to tell an NPPA style story
• Excellent technical skills
• The ability to work well independently
• Must have and maintain a valid license and a good driving record

Requirements and Qualifications:
• A minimum of 1 year reporting experience is required
• Experience with live shots is required
• Experience with Live-U is a plus
