KIDY KXVA-TV San Angelo/Abilene, the TEGNA-owned Fox affiliate in San Angelo, TX is searching for an ambitious Digital Content Producer who thrives in a fast-paced news environment and has an audience-first approach to writing, producing and distributing local news content.

At FOX West Texas, we're all about digital-first journalism that connects with our audience. You'll be the key to making sure our stories are everywhere – from our website to our mobile app, social channels, and beyond.

Responsibilities:
• Create compelling content – Write articles, produce videos, post on social media, and send push alerts to keep our audience engaged and informed.
• Be a breaking news champ – Jump on urgent stories and help lead the charge on all our digital, mobile, streaming, and social platforms.
• Work with a digital team – Collaborate with digital leadership to develop and execute strategies that hit our goals and engage our audience.
• Use analytics to make smarter content choices – Leverage social and digital analytics to ensure our content lands with the right audience at the right time.
• Stay Team up with others – Work alongside talented reporters, photojournalists, and creatives to produce next-level content for our audience.accurate, ethical, and on-brand – Edit your work to meet FOX West Texas' high standards of journalism and AP style, keeping everything accurate and trustworthy.

Requirements:
• Passion for storytelling – Whether it's writing, shooting video, or creating social media content, you've got a knack for making things pop.
• A background in journalism or media – BA/BS in journalism, communications, or related field (college experience counts too!).
• 1+ years of experience – Whether it's from internships, freelance work, or a previous role, we want someone with real-world content experience.
• Social media skills – You're on top of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and the latest digital trends.
• Tech-savvy – Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Premiere, Photoshop, ENPS, and content management systems? Bonus points!
• Ability to thrive under pressure – Deadlines don't scare you; you're cool under pressure and ready for breaking news moments.
