KHOU 11, the TEGNA-owned CBS affiliate in Houston, Texas, is on the lookout for a passionate and innovative Producer to join our dynamic team for the daily talk show Great Day Houston. This is your chance to be part of an award-winning show that captivates audiences every day!
As a Producer, you'll be at the heart of creating engaging and unique daily segments that resonate with our viewers. We're seeking a dynamic, creative thinker who thrives under tight deadlines and brings solid visual and editorial skills to the table.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, book, and produce unique and engaging daily segments for a lifestyle show.
• Produce informative and creative segments that achieve positive results for clients.
• Write, proof, and review scripts, graphics, and other show elements.
• Edit Great Day Houston content for khou.com and KHOU 11+
• Work with the Executive Producer and Sales Department on client segments.
• Develop and foster strong, collaborative relationships with clients.
• Work as required on other locally produced programming.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience producing news or magazine format shows in mid to large markets.
• Must be well-organized and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be solution-oriented and focused on client results and retention.
• Must be a critical thinker and possess a positive attitude.
• Rundown software experience (preferably ENPS).
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Strong social media knowledge and a digital footprint.
• Ability to edit and shoot.
• Line-producing experience is a plus.
• An early riser with a spirit of punctuality.
