Job Summary/Description:

KFDA, Newschannel10, the market leader is looking for a Sports Director and anchor to join our winning team here in Amarillo, Texas. We are looking for a good story teller who wants to learn in a winning environment with a focus on hyper-local sports.

We are searching for a driven sports reporter with a passion for finding and telling good, local, human focused sports stories. You will be an integral part of our local sports empire with not only regular newscasts, but also sports shows dedicated to local sports.
*** Please note, the primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed above ***

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Ability to shoot and edit video, and effectively communicate live on-air
• Flexibility in scheduling, to respond to the changing landscape
• Experience in broadcasting local sports a must
• A strong love for telling unique sports stories and NOT regurgitating national sports
