Job Description
Your impact:

Men's Health is looking for an executive editor to develop and execute our strategy for deepening audience loyalty, enhancing community engagement, and creating high-impact journalism across all our platforms. You'll manage the day-to-day editorial operations of MensHealth.com as well as build on our success in digital memberships and affiliate commerce, and you'll work closely with our analytics teams to optimize content creation, distribution, and promotion across existing and emerging channels. This is a full-time position based in the Men's Health offices in New York City, reporting to the Editor in Chief.

What You'll Do:
• Manage a team of editors and writers, and coordinate article assignments around topics as varied as health, food, fitness, sports, style and grooming, and technology;
• Partner closely with the audience development team to analyze performance data and use those signals to drive growth in membership, affiliate commerce, and audience loyalty.
• Collaborate with editorial leads across video, social, print, and affiliate commerce to maximize the impact of cross-platform content;
• Oversee the budget and production logistics for digital content;
• Support efforts to diversify the voices and experiences reflected on our platforms;
• Work with the sales teams on native content and advertising opportunities.

Who you are:
• At least 8 years of experience as an editor, with at least 3 years of experience managing a team, maintaining a budget, and executing short and long term strategies
• Experience with developing and/or growing digital membership programs, affiliate commerce initiatives, and newsletter audiences
• Editorial background in fitness, health, sports, and/or men's interest content
• Versed in using Google Analytics, SEM Rush, and other data tools
• Open to experimenting with new content types and emerging platforms to drive audience engagement in an ever-changing media ecosystem

The base salary for this role is between $129,000 and $137,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
