HBO Max is seeking an Intern to join their Marketing Analytics team, focused on HBO & HBO Max Originals as well as HBO Max Brand. In this role you will learn about marketing analytics with a focus on social media marketing and be given a chance to pursue projects contributing to the success of individual series and film releases. The intern will help develop strategies to grow HBO Max social engagement as well as work closely with Program Marketing teams to optimize social media strategy for key content releases.

Key to success in this role will be to build out and collaborate with Marketing leaders to enhance social, research and platform insights to drive data driven decisions.
• Contributes to social media measurement (social measurement, listening, audience development, and brand affinity) and formulating actionable recommendations that can be used to shape and optimize marketing campaigns.
• Assists in the preparation of weekly executive analysis and details the performance of social campaigns.
• Helps present analysis to add context, answer questions, and provides recommendations.
• Conducts in-depth evaluation of marketing programs to help derive insights and recommendations for future initiatives in a clear and easily digestible manner.
• Contributes to strategic projects that prioritize large-scale, continuous improvement of the HBO/HBO Max social environment and how it contributes to larger business goals.
• Utilizes Google Analytics and other web reporting tools to provide analysis and recommendations on how to optimize hbo.com and improve customer journeys.

The Essentials
• Ability to analyze, interpret data and craft insights to inform marketers and make recommendations.
• Experience working with social measurement and social listening tools (e.g. ListenFirst, Affinio, Sprinklr, etc.)
• Experience using Google Analytics and/or Omniture Experience building dashboards in Google Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, or other data visualization software Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Well developed presentation and public speaking skills.

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th (optional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
