Job Summary/Description:

KWCH/KSCW is looking for a dynamic News Producer to join our team. The candidate must be able to work in a highly functioning, experienced newsroom be an excellent writer for multi-platform content, and tell impactful stories to enhance our award-winning team's enterprise content.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Must be strong at managing breaking news and severe weather coverage, and be able to make sound split-second decisions during live broadcasts.
- Strong skills working with social media, and gathering newsworthy content from local agencies.
- Must be able to think strategically and motivate your team to execute your vision.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Great communication skills are a must
- Comfortable, confident, and competent news judgment
- A college degree in journalism, broadcasting or communication arts preferred
