Job Summary/Description:

Southwest Louisiana's KPLC-TV seeks a degreed meteorologist to join the First Alert Weather Team.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyzing weather data and preparing an accurate forecast for our weekday newscast.
- You'll use the latest products from Weather Company/WSI to provide forecasts and deliver weather-related news across multiple platforms.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in meteorology or atmospheric sciences from an accredited institution
- A background in journalism and/or mass communication is also preferred
- Flexibility in scheduling to cover severe weather or fill in for other weather team members is a must
- You must also have a good driving record and a valid driver's license. MVR required.
