Job Summary/Description:

Live 5 News is looking for an investigative/ special projects producer to help with our award-winning investigative team. We are looking for a strong journalist with an investigative background. This position will be someone who researches, and field produces investigative stories & specials. They will work with management, reporters, and anchors to develop and provide high-quality content for targeted specialized reports as well as our daily newscasts.

Duties/Responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
* Conceptualizing & scheduling targeted special reports
* Making & tracking FOIA requests
* Producing specials, podcasts, and OTT segments as needed
* Some photography as needed for investigative stories

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Ideal candidate should have at least 2 years experience as a producer, MMJ, or Online journalist.
* The successful applicant's background must include, at minimum, a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism or a related field.
* You MUST provide a link to your resume reel as well as be prepared to discuss your past investigative work.
