Job Summary/Description:

Let your creative skills shine and drive success with the WNDU Creative Services team! If you have a passion for creating strategic content, an appreciation for news, and the determination to deliver results, this job is for you. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented content creator or news professional looking to advance their career. Responsibilities include collaborating with clients and the WNDU Sales and Creative Services staff to conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit commercials, digital videos, and station promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate will be proficient in videography, lighting, graphic design, and the Adobe Creative Suite, and capable of writing compelling copy for various media platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Collaborating with Sales and Creative teams to write, shoot, design, and edit commercials and digital media for WNDU clients.
• Writing, shooting, and editing daily news topicals.
• Contributing to the development of station image promotion campaigns for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Assisting with station community events.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Preferred: College degree in Communications, Broadcasting, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop; experience with Grass Valley Edius is a plus.
• Proficient in shooting with DSLRs and professional-grade video cameras.
• Strong skills in writing, shooting, and editing strategic content that drives action.
• Experience in engaging social media audiences.
• FAA Drone Certification is a plus; WNDU offers training and certification if necessary.
• Voiceover experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company policies (will be verified as a condition of employment and checked regularly throughout employment).
