Job Description
FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the US These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Multi-Media Content Producer
FOX6 has an opportunity available for a confident, charismatic, creative and tech-savvy person to join the Creative Services team as a Multi-Media Content Producer. You will be responsible for the conception, production and execution of fresh and compelling content across multiple platforms. Your work will play a key role in enhancing our brand presence and engaging our audience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• You will be an innovative brand ambassador bringing unique ideas to the table
• You'll work closely with fellow team members and our station Stream Team to create compelling and innovative content and media campaigns that drive viewers to our OTT and broadcast channels
• You will promote station strategies online, on-air and within the community
• You will ensure brand consistency across all FOX6 platforms
• You will create content that resonates with digital, on-air and social media audiences
• You will work with various departments to collect and create content

WHAT YOU'LL HAVE:
• You must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be adept at brainstorming subject matters and choosing topics for videos, writing scripts and titles
• You must be fluent in current and emerging social media platforms
• You must have experience creating content for multiple platforms: linear, digital and social
• You must be able to direct, shoot, edit and distribute content. Designing and implementing motion graphics into your video is required.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software, specifically Premiere, After Effects, Audition and Photoshop is needed
• You must be able to capture HD video with DSLR, Sony, Canon, GoPro and iPhone cameras.
• You must be able to handle average weight objects up to 50 pounds and be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Experience with audio and lighting equipment preferred
• Solution oriented mindset with the ability to multi-task projects and meet several daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
• Strong knowledge of journalistic ethics and legal liability
• Plan, coordinate and attend off hours (including some weekends) station events from both a community outreach and content production standpoint.
• Valid driver's license required
