JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX News Media is looking for a Production Manager to join our team in NY. The Production Manager serves as the primary liaison for all FOX News Media departments and remote events. The Production Manager manages every aspect of field production, from liaising with vendors to setting up workspaces and broadcasting locations, as well as handling additional logistical responsibilities as they arise.

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in show production, be adept at budgeting, and be skilled in managing staff on location. Organizational abilities, excellent communication, and customer service acumen are critical for success in this role.

This position demands extensive and spontaneous travel, both within the US and abroad.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage logistics for significant news events, covering both pre-planned and breaking news situations
• Collaborate with vendors to construct various work and broadcast areas, manage hotel accommodations and catering arrangements, and handle other logistical tasks as necessary
• Coordinate onsite and virtual site surveys with internal departments and external vendors
• Lead meetings to communicate overall plan of onsite production via presentations and production documents
• Work closely with technical teams to determine broadcast and staffing plans
• Develop and maintain budgets

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• A Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years' experience in a production capacity
• Excellent skills in logistics, communications, and customer service
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and adjust priorities as needed, especially during unexpected news developments
• Comfort with public speaking and effectively communicating plans to various teams
• Knowledge of transmission technologies including Live U, cellular, microwave, and satellite feeds
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
• Flexibility to work a variety of non-traditional shifts including weekends, overnights, and holidays
• Ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, and often at a moment's notice

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $67,000.00-94,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
