JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX News Media is on the lookout for an Executive Producer in charge of Development to become a part of our dynamic team. The role includes two key responsibilities: first, you will manage projects with external production companies, overseeing every step from the initial project approval to the final product delivery, under the guidance of the Vice President of Development. Secondly, you will work closely with the Development and Acquisition teams, at various stages of the development process, from the initial project ideas to their approval. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking and inspired creative leader who has substantial experience in both the development and management of premium content. The range of content includes, but is not limited to, non-fiction documentaries, docudramas, factual series, reality programming, and special programs.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the development and execution of original programming, ensuring alignment with FOX News Media's creative vision and standards
• Oversee the lifecycle of assigned projects, from green-lit proposals to final product delivery while ensuring excellence in storytelling and adherence to budget and timelines
• Collaborate with key stakeholders including outside production companies, providing direction and feedback on creative and editorial decisions, casting, storytelling, and program format
• Support the creative process, offering insights and critiques from pitch to post-production, including script development, editing oversight and series branding
• Engage with top industry talent - writers, directors, and producers - to nurture relationships that foster innovative programming in line with FOX News Media's objectives
• Partner with Marketing and other relevant teams to develop comprehensive promotional strategies, ensuring broad audience reach and engagement
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 15 years of experience in content development and editorial management at a studio-based, in-house network or established production company
• A strong editorial skillset with an extensive background in historical news and/or pop culture content
• Exhibit a strong creative vision coupled with detail-oriented production knowledge in writing, graphics, sound design, text on screen, and fact-checking to ensure program integrity
• Ability to serve as a creative innovator in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-growing, and collaborative business environment
• Must have a history at selecting and developing trendy, innovative, and compelling material
• Thrive in a complex, fast-paced, demanding environment
• Ability to think outside the box with an imaginative, innovative mindset and creative sensibility
• Excellent writing and communication skills; capable of articulating ideas in a clear and compelling manner
• Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills, including the ability to collaborate with a wide range of people, from those specializing in creative fields to individuals with a strong business background

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $140,000.00-168,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
