JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX News Live is looking for a proactive and organized Associate Producer to join our team in Washington DC. The Associate Producer will generate creative and innovative ideas for guest segments and pieces. You must have strong writing, booking, and video/graphics skills combined with great editorial judgment. The Associate Producer has stellar communication skills, thrives in a fast-paced breaking news environment, and is looking to take on more responsibilities and grow within the company.
This work shift is fully onsite from Wednesday - Sunday.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build fast-paced newscasts
• Generate creative and innovative ideas for guest segments and pieces
• Communicate daily story development to the executive producer
• Build graphics, write, and work on all other editorial and production elements
• Take part in editorial planning
• Help book guest segments/studios
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• A Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years of professional experience in a live television environment
• Natural ability to write effectively and creatively
• Thorough knowledge of domestic politics and business news
• Strong writing and copy-editing skills
• Ability to work under intense deadline pressure in a newsroom
• The shift will include working early morning hours on the weekends

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $61,000.00-79,500.00 annually for Washington, DC This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
