JOB DESCRIPTION
The FOX Experience & Design team is fueled by boldness and the desire to create impact. We are dedicated to increasing awareness by connecting viewers and clients to FOX through best-in-class experiences across diverse business affiliates, such as FOX Entertainment, FOX Sports, Tubi Media, FOX News, and FOX Corporate. We focus on brand engagement and experiential experiences by providing strategic ideas, planning, and production in events, design, and technology.
We have a great opportunity for a Manager, Technical Event Production! The Manager, Technical Event Production will support all technical and operational aspects of live and recorded events for the FOX family of brands within the Studio 1 complex, the Executive Screening Room, and offsite events. The Manager, Technical Event Production requires basic studio and live-event technical knowledge, strong project management, operational background, and multi-tasking skills to support the FOX Experience & Design technical team. The ideal candidate is an accomplished multi-tasker, who can anticipate and proactively support the team's production needs. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The Daily (General)
• Manage the collection and organization of graphic, audio, video, and other required assets to support FOX Experience & Design studio and offsite events
• Collaborate with executives, presenters, directors, and design and events teams to establish show asset deliverables and timelines, supporting efficient show preparation, rehearsal, and production
• Support day-to-day technical operations for both studio and offsite FOX Experience & Design events (live, virtual, VOD)
• Manage and disseminate all studio and event communications including production schedules, ROS, call sheets, and other necessary event documentation that may occur in collaboration with the event team
• Manage on own or supply event team with all current documentation, including budgets, scheduling, recap data, or other supporting event documentation, enabling production to run smoothly and collaboratively.
• Resource and manage Production Assistants and support personnel booking and payroll process in collaboration with freelance coordinators
• Plan, schedule, and manage resources and time for concurrent projects, teams, and deadlines
• Troubleshoot technical challenges as they arise
Studio Specific Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day technical support and operations for all FOX Studio 1 productions (live, virtual, and VOD)
• Purview also includes the Executive Screening room and other theaters on the FOX lot as required
• Manage space and technical support staff booking for all incoming Studio Collective productions from inception to completion
• Maintain and update all license agreements (service and subscription) for Studio Collective equipment.
• Manage the maintenance schedule of all studio equipment and spaces, collaborating with FOX Studio facilities and outside vendors to keep all equipment and production spaces in tip-top condition
• Troubleshoot technical challenges as they arise
Event Tech-Specific Responsibilities
• Manage the maintenance and organization of all FED-owned production and event equipment
• Pull, set up, operate, strike, and track FED equipment as needed for events
• Liaison with web platform vendors to support all FED webcasting needs
• Manage webcast access lists for each show as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in corporate events or broadcast
• Project management experience in live events or studio operations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of live production systems (video, audio, lighting)
• Proactive, can-do attitude fueled by self-motivation
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to travel, work long hours (evenings/weekends), lift 50lbs, and work on feet for extended periods
NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
• Experience with setting up and managing Zoom webinars and meetings for large audiences
• Proficiency in managing and creating content on WordPress sites
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
• Proficiency in various platforms (MS Suite, Google Workspace, Monday.com, Outlook, databases, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $75,000.00-93,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
