Job Description
FOX21 News seeks a Full-Time Weekend Morning Meteorologist for our 2-hour morning show. We are looking for someone that possesses the skills to deliver a dynamic and engaging weathercast in a very conversational style that matches our measured approach and not ''over-the-top'' weather brand.
- During the week this position will work in the weather center with a focus our weather app and other digital content, in addition to climate and explainer segments during the morning show.
- Creativity is encouraged as we strive to continuously push our storytelling and use of graphics systems.
- When weather is active this position will be out in the field providing television and digital reports in our Storm Squatch chase vehicle.
- On rare occasions the position may be asked to cover a general reporting shift in the newsroom when staffing is short.
- At least 2-3 years on-air as a meteorologist is required, knowledge of IBM MAX is a plus and an AMS and or NWA seal is preferred.
- College degree in Meteorology or related major is also preferred.

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Annual Salary: $40,000+ commensurate with experience
