The Senior Media Buyer will maintain their professional, positive demeanor while working effectively under tight deadlines. Ideal candidates have integrated marketing agency experience developing online and offline media strategy and media buying to effectively support client business objectives. The Senior Media Buyer will utilize their experience and expertise to oversee the execution of campaigns from conception to reconciliation. We're seeking applicants with key skills of negotiation, strategy, adaptability, sound judgment, attention to detail, and outstanding interpersonal, time management and organizational skills.
Requirements
• Must have 5+ years of prior paid media work experience researching, purchasing and reporting paid media.
• Strong negotiation, oral/written communication, and mathematical skills.
• Familiarity with traditional and digital media, including programmatic, paid social media, campaign strategy, optimization and reporting.
• Work experience reconciling buys / insertion orders to invoicing and posting.
• Must be a strong team player, collaborator, and contributor to the department.
• Be comfortable developing and presenting paid media strategy, RFP responses and presentations.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, social media ad platforms, Strata/Freewheel, Tapscan, and Qualitap.
• Familiarity with NetSuite software is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing or related field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute campaigns in terms of cost efficiency, goal delivery, and manage vendor agreements.
• Negotiate and purchase campaigns with a media mix of offline and online media.
• Monitor and manage campaigns in-progress via vendor communications, self-serve platforms and dashboards.
• Manage and execute trafficking of all creative materials to the media.
• Negotiate credit / billing adjustments and collaborate with media vendors and our agency accounting departments to resolve media billing issues.
• Document all ''make goods'' and credits.
• Approve invoices and reconcile traffic and/or billing discrepancies.
• Conduct month-to-month reporting and the post-buy analytics.
