FINN Partners is on the hunt for an experienced Vice President to join our growing Corporate & Financial Services team.  If you are an accomplished comms executive looking to contribute to a fantastic team, working on integrated marketing and communication campaigns at an international agency, this is the role you've been looking for.

As a resourceful self-starter and leader who shares FINN's Work Hard-Play Nice values, a vice president in our strategic communications practice will have the opportunity to:
• Provide strategic counsel to C-suite executives as a trusted advisor, helping clients reach and exceed their goals
• Be part of a collaborative and highly skilled team, working with international clients in a wide variety of industries ranging from banking and fintech's, investment, government agencies, non-profits and MNO's hospitality and tourism to food and beverage.
• Work on integrated marketing and communication campaigns

You are a strong candidate if you have:
• A minimum of 6 years of agency experience and the ability to efficiently lead multiple clients simultaneously.
• Experience working with a range of Financial Services clients, ideally across the corporate and investment banking, payments and trade finance sectors.
• Demonstrated experience in all phases of client service, including development of PR/integrated communication strategies and plans; media pitching; content development; digital and social media campaigns; project and team management; reporting and budget management.
• Demonstrated experience and interest in leading content-led campaigns across a range of tactics – including white papers, surveys, by-lines, blogs, event write ups, listicles etc. – with strong editorial and proofing know-how
• Successfully developed and implemented impactful PR campaigns aligned to client KPI's. Develop and oversee annual planning and quarterly strategy reviews.
• Proven success in new business development – organic as well as identification & execution of prospecting strategies
• Experience in media and spokesperson training and management
• Passion for mentoring and helping junior team members grow
• Creativity, ingenuity, and an initiative-taking attitude
• A bachelor's degree in public relations, business, communications, marketing, journalism, English, or related field

Primary Responsibilities
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of client's business
• Manage day-to-day implementation of programmes
• Develop and cultivate relationship with clients and external audiences
• Develop long term plans and programme recommendations
• Manage and develop junior staff
• Develop contacts with potential clients – build own new business pipeline
• Write and present new business proposals, or portions of proposals
• Develop and track budgets
• Manage account administration duties such as billing and financial reporting
• Develop sophisticated messages that are aligned with the objectives set forth by the client
• Review materials (eg: content for whitepapers, reports, by-lines and blogs, media pitching , news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios and newsletters) prepared by staff working on their accounts
• Anticipate, respond to and develop materials on complex issues
• Cultivate positive client presence in all media through releases
• Maintain clear and consistent communications between the client and account team
• Develop complete communications plans for clients
• Develop regular reports for clients showing FINN Partners' value-add to the overall communications/business plan.

• Ability to develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships
• In-depth knowledge of FINN Partners' management principles and practices
• Availability to travel as needed to off-site meetings.
