Job Description
The Manager will support planning, coordination and execution of initiatives and production projects. They will help develop integration and synergy opportunities and strategies across ESPN platforms, lead day to day project management and workflows, guide cross-functional teams in pursuing shared objectives, and support production needs and roles for relevant projects. This individual will be a self-starter with a passion for ESPN content and experiences, a commitment to collaboration, and should possess strong creative, organization and communication skills. #ESPNMedia

Responsibilities:
• Leads and optimizes project management processes to ensure detailed organization, logistical coordination and successful execution of all projects.
• Helps build and manage relationships and communication between teams and departments.
• Understands the strategies and challenges of internal stakeholders in order to identify integration opportunities, and provide direction and solutions for successful executions.
• Prioritizes guiding a variety of cross-functional teams and fostering career development amongst all direct reports.
• Organizes and runs stakeholder meetings, provide agendas, identify action items and deliver clear written recaps for each.
• Aides in reporting to demonstrate impact, highlight collaborative efforts, and identify areas for future growth.
• Organizes and runs post-mortems ensuring all voices are heard in order to improve and evolve future strategies.
• Leads and/or assists with developing and producing content elements to support initiatives.
• Reviews and provide effectives feedback on editorial strategy and content.
• Assists with short and long range planning of the department to carry out strategic initiatives
• Keeps up with current internal business developments and business trends for ESPN and TWDC

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Production, Sales, Project Management or a related field
• Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
• Experience with workflow and project management tools, including but not limited to Sharepoint, Smartsheets, Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to work across multiple departments and disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously under deadline, and complete a task with minimal direction or instruction.
• Ability to effectively bring teams together to pursue shared objectives and build strong working relationships with partners.
• A healthy understanding or appreciation of ESPN content, sales and marketing strategies.
• Production knowledge, including video and graphic development familiarity.
• Excellent communication skills - written, oral and interpersonal.
• Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
• Strong problem solving skills. Must demonstrate good judgment and be able to think on their toes.
• Wants to help build a growing team, be challenged to learn daily and react to developing business needs.
• Flexible and adaptable work schedule for changing business demands.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Disney and/or ESPN experience or related sports/entertainment experience preferred.

Required Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in journalism, broadcasting, business, marketing, communications, or related field

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
