What You'll Do
Epic Games, Inc. seeks a UX Designer in Bellevue, WA to work with Product and Leadership to translate goals and constraints into compelling user-facing experiences
In this role, you will
• Collaborate with Visual Designers to level up the UX & UI of Fortnite.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and documentation that clearly convey ideas.
• Present and pitch designs to Product Managers, Developers, and Stakeholders.
• Work alongside Engineers, UI Technical Designers, and UX Researchers to develop features and systems.
• Produce UX design work such as competitive analysis, information architecture, content strategy, user stories, journey mapping, and accessibility standards.
• Work to resolve design discrepancies across teams within Fortnite.
• Work collaboratively across multiple teams to create consistency.
• Build design systems that enhance our ability to design more efficiently and consistently.
What we're looking for
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Interaction Design or related field, plus 4 years of related experience.
• Must have an online portfolio demonstrating user-centered design solutions with strong UX problem solving, visual direction and interaction design.
• Requires 4 years of experience with Figma, Sketch, the Abode Suite or prototyping software. Requires 4 years of experience in each of the following:
• working collaboratively to design features and complex UX systems through to completion across multiple platforms (mobile, web, pc, consoles);
• working in Agile environments and on multi-disciplinary teams;
• turning 1-page product outlines into detailed UX design documentation, wireframes, and prototypes that have turned into shipped products/features;
• providing competitive analysis for shipped products/features; shipping updates and new features to a user base on a regular cadence;
• presenting to other team members and stakeholders.

Washington Base Pay Range
$173,970 — $289,950 USD
