What You'll Do
We are looking for a Tools Engineer who is passionate about writing world-building tools for artists. You will help develop the next generation of tools used by the industry's leading artists and directly impact the creativity and productivity of artists worldwide.
In this role, you will
• Use hands-on technical expertise to drive solutions for a range of challenges
• Collaborate with all disciplines (i.e., programmers, artists, and designers) to identify areas for improvements, gather feedback, and design solutions for user needs
• Creating, optimizing, and enhancing algorithms and data structures
• Analyze and fix common problems such as load times, memory usage, and performance problems
What we're looking for
• Excellent C++ skills
• 5+ years of experience building high-performing, architecturally complex products
• Hands on experience with UE 4/5 with both C++ coding and Blueprints is required
• Strong troubleshooting, profiling, and debugging skills
• Experience with contemporary content creation (modeling and texturing) tools and workflows
• Experience with procedural content generation and mesh processing techniques
