Product Management partners with game development, publishing, marketing, and platform teams to provide a data and market-driven view of product strategy that aligns with business goals. As part of Epic's Growth Team, we use our product expertise to identify and drive growth levers to grow our player base and business.
What You'll Do
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Senior Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join the Discover team. This role is ideal for a candidate who exhibits a strong understanding of the gaming/UGC ecosystem and a willingness to chase down problems and drive impact. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our product development efforts, particularly our Discover strategy, tooling, and experimentation.
In this role, you will
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine product requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex products from conception through launch.
• Translate technical concepts into actionable, user-friendly products and features.
• Drive projects with a hands-on approach, ensuring deadlines are met and goals are achieved.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams to maintain project momentum.
• Conduct experiments and A/B tests to evaluate and rapidly drive impact.
• Prioritizes reusability and leverages expertise in web development to significantly increment our tooling for serving content to players.
What we're looking for
• Proven experience in a role with a focus on Product Management and Games.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset.
• Is able take ambiguous problems and return with product solutions.
• Full-stack web development experience, preferably with Nextjs and Postgres expertise.
• Other Tech Stack wants: Deep SQL experience, .NET, python, and experience writing public API endpoints that can handle high volume traffic.
• Has taken an application from concept to working service, ideally supporting at least 1-2 customers.
• Prior experience at a technology-focused company, ideally in a role involving client-facing responsibilities.
• Experience working on internal tooling and CMS applications.
This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA & NYC).
