What You'll Do

The MetaHuman team is looking for a Senior Technical Animator to help drive innovation in high-quality character deformation. Interested candidates should have a great understanding of the fundamentals of anatomy and flesh simulation.

In this role, you will
• Collaborate with R&D, engineers and artists to develop the next-generation of industry-leading muscle and flesh simulation workflows.
• Drive tooling development through iterative evaluation and insightful feedback.
• Champion customer needs by translating desired features into actionable plans.
• Battle-test features by crafting high-quality creature simulation rigs.
• Develop technical documentation for complex rigging processes, such as body deformation and muscle workflows in Unreal Engine.
• Positively contribute to team development through knowledge sharing and skill development.

What we're looking for
• Experience in muscle rigging
• Strong eye in anatomy and body mechanics
• Familiarity with optimisation and performance constraints in game engines.
