What You'll Do
Epic Games is looking for a Sr. Pipeline Developer to join our Art Pipeline team to help us improve production art efficiency. We're looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting production teams and developing tools and workflows across one or more content creation disciplines and first party projects.
In this role, you will
• Build best-in-class production workflow tooling and automations within an established development framework
• Scope out and drive production programming initiatives, working closely with other developers and stakeholders toward scalable, maintainable solutions
• Deliver practical, forward-thinking solutions that address the needs of Artist while working with production to balance development priorities and timelines
• Promote and demonstrate development progress to relevant stakeholders
What we're looking for
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Programming, or relevant industry experience, with a strong foundation in software design patterns and object oriented programming
• 7+ years experience as a Pipeline Developer, Technical Artist, or similar, working on production in games, feature animation, VFX, or related industry
• Experience integrating and maintaining custom tools in Unreal Engine and 3rd Party software packages (python and Qt experience required)
• High attention to detail, proactive problem solver with excellent communication skills and an ability to multitask effectively
• Bonus for experience in one or more of the following areas: C++, USD, ShotGrid/Flow Toolkit, Adobe Substance, Motion systems, Media & Review, Deadline, Devops
This role is open to multiple locations in North America (including CA & WA).

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren't limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic's generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
California Base Pay Range
$182,255 — $267,307 USD
Washington Base Pay Range
$155,111 — $227,495 USD
