What We Do
Our Data & Analytics teams build powerful stories and visuals that inform the games we make, the technology we develop, and business decisions that drive Epic.

What You'll Do

Partner closely with Data Science, developers, and business leadership to develop flexible telemetry, robust data models, and stable ETLs throughout the Epic Games Store platform. This person would own the data that will define the future of our storefront.

In this role, you will
• Develop and implement telemetry to track critical behaviors of customers within our products
• Build robust ETLs and pipelines to support reporting internally and externally
• Facilitate proactive analysis on ecosystem-wide growth & engagement challenges, partnering with specialist analytics leaders from around the company
• Partner with data analysts to develop efficient pipeline architecture for business needs

What we're looking for
• Ability to design and manage data models and schemas for various business scenarios
• Ability to own solutions end-to-end: designing metrics, building logging specs, developing pipelines, conducting analysis, building readouts, and continuously iterating
• 5+ years developing in Python
• Proficiency in SQL
• Proficiency with Airflow or similar tooling
• Proficiency in Apache Spark
• Experience with Databricks or similar applications
