What You'll Do

The Gameplay Capture Manager will be responsible for leading the Game Capture team in the creation of video assets across all Epic Games products. We are looking for an individual who excels in organization, has exceptional communication abilities, and has a keen eye for what makes a world class trailer.

In this role, you will
• Manage and deploy the resources of the Epic Gameplay Capture team to produce high quality gameplay trailers and other video assets
• Develop the creative and technical skills of Gameplay Capture team artists
• Work closely with other Gameplay Capture leads to maintain and elevate our high gameplay capture quality bar
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define the needs of projects
• Deploy creative leaders on the Gameplay Capture team to work with external vendors to produce gameplay video content
• Coordinate with Capture Technicians and Pipeline Team to define priorities for future capture tools and communicate the support needs for in flight trailers
• Apply a deep understanding of the concepts of cinematic production to improve overall trailer production and help define the style of gameplay trailers for future Epic products

What we're looking for
• Experience with project management software such as Wrike or Shotgrid
• Experience managing a large team
• 5-7 years of experience in game capture
• Experience working with game engines. Unreal engine experience is a plus
• Highly organized with excellent production management skills
• Experience communicating and implementing new production strategies
• Understanding of gameplay capture workflows and production processes
• A deep understanding of trailer production
• Ability to remain calm and confident in an environment that changes rapidly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with a large team
