What You'll Do
As the Lead, Compliance Assurance you will lead testing and monitoring of compliance safeguards, processes, and policies to support Epic's adherence to applicable laws and regulations. You will play a key role in leading Epic's efforts to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
In this role, you will
• Design program to test and monitor compliance as legally required and as needed to identify compliance risk
• Design and implement testing methodologies and make recommendations to adjust the Compliance program as needed
• Lead annual and periodic risk-based control testing across Compliance controls
• Develop documentation requests, facilitate walkthrough discussions / interviews with control owners and operators
• Document and confirm testing results with key stakeholders
• Lead periodic reporting to executive leadership on testing and monitoring results
• Provide guidance on issue remediation plans
What we're looking for
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in compliance or auditing, preferably in a similar industry
• Experience partnering with stakeholders across legal, finance, people, product, and engineering teams
• Proactively identify process gaps, roadblocks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies that will negatively impact risk and compliance efforts and mitigate them
• Significant experience with program or project management, including developing long-term strategy consisting of multiple smaller projects, defining program strategy, and defining metrics
• Experience in large organizations requiring collaboration and coordination across diverse stakeholder groups to align the company to successfully execute on a vision.
• Experience in auditing in areas related to content regulation, online safety, privacy, and/or security is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills and experience working successfully in a global environment with a diverse group of colleagues.
• Hard worker who is comfortable operating in a complex and dynamic environment; this person will be energized by big challenges and working with excellent people

This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including CA, NYC, & WA).

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren't limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic's generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
