What We Do

Whether it's driving a vision from start to finish or collaborating with teams to inspire and deliver projects of Epic quality, Epic's production teams take pride in consistently delivering world-class products and experiences.

What You'll Do

Epic Games is seeking an experienced Senior Producer to join our growing R&D team. We are aiming to build innovative new experiences and technology as part of our collaboration for use in our first-party games and Unreal Engine. As a Senior Producer on the team, you will partner with cross-discipline teams and leadership on the development of our next generation of exciting games and cutting-edge technology. You will be responsible for handling and organizing processes so that developers can do what they do best. The ideal candidates are passionate about technology and games and have a history of working within technical, distributed environments. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our roadmap works towards achieving our goals and that we are effectively prioritizing the tools and features the team needs to meet its goals.

In this role, you will
• Be a master of cross-team collaboration. You will serve as the primary conduit between the research team and other projects to ensure a wide understanding of timelines and commitments
• Manage both internal and external resources as they pertain to resource allocation, budget forecasts, and actuals
• Provide transparent communications on project status and risks to stakeholders to ensure they are properly informed of any impacts from upcoming releases
• Partner with multiple leaders to understand and balance priorities, requirements, and critical timelines
• Collaborate with producers and other disciplines on the development teams needed to complete initiatives, communicate frequently and proactively to highlight progress, risks, and mitigations
• Improve and develop processes based on the needs of the teams, initiatives, and products
• Collaborate on roadmap planning activities for the project and represent your initiatives, including feedback collection, requirements gathering, initiative build-out, feature breakdown, estimations, and resourcing in order to drive a solid roadmap that achieves product goals

What we're looking for
• Experience on AAA games or game platforms from concept to release
• Extensive experience working in a production or project management role where you've managed cross-functional teams in the creation and delivery of technical projects in a fast-paced environment
• Deep understanding of software development processes, and project management practices
• Game development experience is a plus
• Demonstrated technical aptitude; strong preference for applicants who have worked with highly technical or applied research-based teams
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• A good knowledge of light-touch production systems that allow teams to thrive without unnecessary overhead
• The ability to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders within your team and throughout the company
• A passion for gaming and real-time technology
