Streaming Operator – Part Time
Endeavor Streaming is an emerging, disruptive digital media and technologies department within the global Endeavor brand. As part of our continued growth, we are looking for people who are interested in joining our existing New York based team working remotely on a part-time basis.
Job Description – The Streaming Operator will work in a 24/7 global environment. The operator will be responsible for taking in video feeds from the MCR or a third party, as well as monitoring and slating of events. This includes setting up of the local streaming architecture, quality assurance monitoring of inbound and outbound signals, slating of events, internal reporting, and stream status updates. Editing of archives or other packages may be required as well based on project requirements.
Key areas of responsibility
• Ensure proper delivery of content from either the MCR or a third party
• Stream or monitor events using a variety of different encoders
• Use a variety of tools to insert GFX / slates and other media into streams when required.
• Use a variety of tools to edit archives and highlights when required
• Ensure streams are working properly with pre/post event checklists.
• Communicate with stakeholders when required
Desired Experience
• Understanding the anatomy of a typical broadcast
• Collecting, filtering and analyzing data regarding service operations to aid
problem/incident management
• Identifying service issues and following standard procedure or establishing workarounds on the fly
• Quality standards for service delivery and how to maintain them
• Understanding of OTT CMS systems
• Experience with non-linear editing preferred
• Understanding of the causes and consequences of service failure, and how to respond appropriately.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Sheets/Docs
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Expert Mac and/or PC proficiency
Who this role reports to:
This role reports to the Digital Broadcast Operations Managers.

• Due to the nature of this role a high degree of self-determination, flexibility and adaptability is essential.
• A willingness to work collaboratively across departments depending on project requirements.
• This role will predominantly cover events taking place on Thursday - Sunday. With the opportunity for more work throughout the week as event volume requires up to 15-30 hours/week.

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Range Minimum:
$15.00 hourly
Hiring Range Maximum:
$18.00 hourly
