Dotdash Meredith is looking for a dynamic and creative strategic leader to manage and grow the multi-billion dollar Better Homes & Gardens licensing business at Walmart. The GM of Product, Marketing, and Strategy for Walmart is a mission critical role that will lead the strategy and P&L for the largest private label Home brand within Walmart. The GM is responsible for building relationships and acting as the senior liaison with key Walmart executives to influence product development and drive buying decisions, deliver results-oriented marketing campaigns, and champion the BHG brand to drive business growth.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a proven track record of strong leadership, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities, and accelerating revenues for brands in the retail licensing space. They will have strong expertise in retail marketing, particularly digital, and an affinity for analyzing and leveraging data of all types to drive decision making. They will have the ability to lead and motivate team members to exceed performance expectations, while partnering with cross-functional teams across Dotdash Meredith to achieve success.

About The Positions/Contributions:
Weight% Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
30% Build relationships with key Walmart stakeholders to ensure alignment of business objectives, proactively address issues, identify growth opportunities, and market the BHG brand and DDM capabilities.
15% Manage a team of employees responsible for marketing, business operations, packaging design, and product photography, establishing clear goals and action plans that are aligned with our objectives to drive sales of BHG-branded products.
15% Ensure that we deliver against our marketing commitment and performance KPIs to drive the BHG Collection's sales increase, particularly driving digital growth.
15% Deliver internal updates to DDM executive leadership on the health of the business and opportunities for growth. Identify opportunities for product line expansion within Walmart to drive business growth.
10% Lead the delivery of regular insights and trends to key Walmart stakeholders and product development partners to inform and influence product development and assortment decisions that align with the Better Homes & Gardens Collection's positioning.
5% Establish a regular cadence of merchant-level meetings with key department heads to review the business, coordinate marketing and identify any risks/opportunities.
5% Collaborate with the BHG GM, Editorial, Marketing and Commerce teams, informing them of new product developments, coordinating editorial coverage and proactively seeking opportunities for inclusion in key brand events and coverage.
5% Work with Legal as necessary on contractual matters.
The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements
Education:
• 4-year degree required; marketing or business degree preferred.
Experience:
• 10+ years of experience working in brand licensing with an emphasis in consumer goods and retail strategy
• Experience building and scaling businesses to profitability and EBITDA growth
• Experience managing large P&Ls
• Track record of strong ideas brought to life
• Ability to use statistics, sales data, qualitative/quantitative results, and other hard measurable data to influence key decision makers
• Excellent time management, resource management, and planning skills
• Impeccable written and verbal communications skills with demonstrated ability to simplify the complex and write persuasive perspectives.

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $180,000.00 - $216,300.00
