About The Position |

The Senior Account Manager will support the goals of the Senior Director of Partnerships with a focus on Dotdash Meredith's affiliate content channel. This role will help lead the content channel by overseeing key client relationships, identifying new partnership opportunities, and optimizing all current partnerships.

The Senior Account Manager will serve as a point person between network/agency/client personnel and internal digital sales teams, interacting extensively with all parties. This person will strategize content initiatives and grow retail partnerships with key affiliate and advertising stakeholders. The right candidate must be a self-motivated multitasker with strong analytical skills.

Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results

70%

Work closely with the Affiliate Partnerships and Digital Media Sales teams to manage key retailer relationships in both the affiliate and digital media content spaces.

Vet all potential opportunities and provide clear feedback based on brand fit, size of opportunity, etc.

Ensure clear understanding and interpretation of client needs and recommend Commerce solutions to meet client goals.

Maintain strong client relationships and identify key growth accounts.

Maintain strong relationships with network and agency contacts.
Optimize and grow relationships with existing partners.

Work with the Campaign Management team daily to analyze campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.

Work with Editorial and Marketing teams to ensure that all campaign goals are met or exceeded.

Work with the Senior Director of Partnerships on the growth strategy for the business.
Onboard new partners and negotiate competitive commission rates.

20%:

Work closely with network and agency contacts to identify new partnership opportunities.

Participate in weekly calls with both internal stakeholders and clients.

10%:

Create proposals for prospective partners.

Participate in key industry conferences.

The Role's Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred

Experience:

5+ years' experience in affiliate/ performance marketing. Sales experience is a plus.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work well as part of a cross-functional team.

Ability to work well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Strong attention to detail.

Experience with Google Drive-Google Spreadsheets, Google Docs, and other Google platforms.

Salary: New York: $80,000.00 - $94,500.00
