R ole Overview:

The Media and Advertising Innovation Strategist is a critical role responsible for supporting the Executive Director of Business Integrations in driving the company's innovation strategy across various media channels. This role involves identifying emerging market trends and developing innovative, cutting-edge products and services to meet the evolving needs of clients in the advertising and media landscape. The Media and Advertising Innovation Strategist plays a pivotal part in assisting the Executive Director in leading the organization's efforts to stay ahead of the curve and maintain a competitive edge in the ever-changing market.

Key Responsibilities:

Market and Client Analysis:
• Assist in conducting comprehensive needs analyses by engaging with sales teams, clients, and industry experts to understand market demands, trends, and shifts across the advertising and media landscape.
• Leverage various methodologies, including surveys, research, internal data analysis, and vendor assessments, to gather insights and identify opportunities for innovation.

Product and Service Innovation:
• Develop a deep understanding of the company's existing offerings and capabilities to help identify complementary products, services, and solutions that align with client and market needs.
• Support the ideation, evaluation, and recommendation of new innovative products and services based on market demand, technology trends, competitive gaps, and business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define product capabilities, essential features, and specifications for development.

Strategic Partnerships and Vendor Management:
• Assist in identifying, exploring, and evaluating potential strategic partnerships with external vendors and industry players to extend the company's sales capabilities and gain a competitive advantage.
• Support the negotiation and management of vendor relationships, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with the company's innovation strategy.

Product Development Lifecycle:
• Assist in the development of detailed project plans, objectives, projections, and timelines for new product and service launches.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to build, test, implement, and launch new products or services, ensuring functionality, usability, performance, quality assurance, and successful roll-out across the organization.
• Monitor post-launch performance, gather user feedback, and provide insights to optimize offerings based on data-driven insights.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in media, advertising, or related fields.
• Background in agency operations, programmatic DSP platforms, or other media execution types (e.g., Linear TV, Retail Media).
• Previous roles could include but not limited to Account Management, Marketing Coordinator/Manager, Media Planner/Buyer, Project Manager, Business Development, Strategist.
• Proven experience in product development, innovation management, and/or strategic planning within the digital advertising or related industries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for exploring new technologies, trends, and business models.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred but not required (e.g., Business, Marketing, or related).

In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
