Role Summary:

The incumbent will be mentoring/leading a team of developers responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new or modified software products or ongoing projects for Editorial and Production systems in the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Business and Technical Acumen:
• Ability to synthesize business and functional requirements with design solutions
• Take complete ownership of new projects and drive technical planning and time estimation
• Conceptualize product features, design, develop and debug in a real-time environment
• Design, develop and deploy front-end applications and write comprehensive test coverages
• Leverage your technical expertise to constantly raise the bar and ensure the team delivers extraordinary results – focusing on creating value, continuous improvement, and collaboration
• Provide solutions to performance problems and architectural challenges
• Maintain excellent software development processes, including Agile best practices
• Work in highly dynamic environments and collaborate with teams for digital initiatives
• Build real and effective partnerships between your team and others throughout the company
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Planning, Spring Review, and Sprint Retrospective)
• Effectively manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and work across a range of technologies

Required Skills:
• Bachelor in Engineering (B.E./ B.Tech Degree) with 7 -12 Years of relevant experience
• Proficient in React, Redux, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node, HTML, CSS, UI/UX design and best practices, object-oriented programming, front-end build tools such as Webpack,
• Strong knowledge on TDD/BDD tools such as Cucumber or JUnit, CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, browser testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Nightwatch, monitoring tools such as NewRelic, implementing and using web analytics such as Google Analytics.SQL is a plus to have.
• Ability to bring in good standards and practices for a better deployment process and experience in alerts and notification from Front End.
• Experience producing technical and design documentation of complex processes is a plus
• Previous experience delivering products in an Agile environment (Scrum / Kanban) or are interested in learning.
• Strong communication skills
